Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Associate Shipper/Receiver.

The role is a full-time, non-exempt position based in our warehouse, requiring the ability to operate multiple pallet-jack types and powered industrial trucks, as well as maintain safety and accuracy in daily tasks. You will pull orders, generate shipping documents, receive and stock items, and participate in required training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• DOT HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer orders using a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) and palletize product (70%).
• Generate bills of lading, reports and labels (15%).
• Maintain a clean work environment (10%).
• Receive and stock product; complete company-required training (5%).
