Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking an Associate Shipper/Receiver to fill customer orders and stack inventory using powered industrial trucks in Jacksonville, FL. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a forklift certification to be completed on hire.

You will pull orders, generate bills of lading, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while receiving and stocking products. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a competitive pay rate and training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• D.O.T. HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.
• Equipment: Forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer orders using a PDA and palletize product (70%).
• Generate bills of lading, reports and labels (15%).
• Maintain a clean work environment (10%).
• Receive and stock product and complete training (5%).
