Job summary

Husky Technologies in Milton, Vermont, seeks a skilled Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support our busy manufacturing campus. In this role you will pack and ship components, verify deliveries, and maintain orderly inventory in a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a pay range of $23–$26 per hour. The team uses computer inventory systems and hand tools; experience with cranes and forklifts is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/receiving and stockroom operations.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Operate an overhead crane, forklift, and other lifting devices.
• Experience with computer inventory systems preferred.
• Experience with construction tools (table saw, nail gun, chop saw) strongly preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pack and ship outgoing hot runners, controllers, and components.
• Forward packing slips to the accounting department.
• Check for obvious damage and verify quantity and general specifications of incoming material.
• Ensure materials and parts are properly identified and stored.
• Skid/crate parts for return to suppliers or customers.
• Request and maintain adequate stock levels for operating supplies and miscellaneous items.
• Maintain accurate operating records and files, work centers, visibility, and short lists.
• Produce exception reports that depict potential shortages to the assembly line.
• Update Bills of Material to reflect current marshalling position.
