Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a warehouse associate to operate forklifts and support shipping, loading, and staging activities in a fast-paced environment. You will perform daily checks, move materials between warehouse and production areas, and assist with loading goods onto trucks.

The role requires forklift operation certification, basic math, and ability to read and write English. Prior shipping/receiving experience is a plus, with lifting up to 50 lbs and routine team lifts expected.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• 1 year of factory-related experience in shipping and receiving or forklift operation.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
• Licensed forklift truck operator.

Responsibilities

• Operate propane and electric forklift vehicles to transport material throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Assist in loading and unloading of product onto semi trucks.
• Perform start of shift preventative maintenance inspection on hi-lo.
• Lift heavy product (50+ lbs.) multiple times per shift; assist in team lift when product exceeds 50 lbs.
• Perform visual inspections of material prior to loading into semi trucks and box trucks.
• Check shipping label for correct customer name, size, style and handing material prior to loading into trucks.
• Load semi trucks and box trucks with required finished product.
• Assist in staging inventory and raw material for next day’s production.
