Job summary

Carlisle Construction Materials is seeking a forklift operator to support production and shipping on the plant floor. The role involves pre-shift inspections, moving materials with a propane sit-down forklift, and maintaining safe, orderly operations.

You will record maintenance data, monitor quality, and help keep the production line running. A team player with strong safety practices will thrive on this shift.

Qualifications

• Experience operating propane sit-down forklifts or similar powered equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and document results.
• Record preventative maintenance data, quality metrics, downtime and output.
• Safely move raw materials and finished products with a propane sit-down forklift.
• Visually inspect materials for defects and segregate nonconforming items.
• Maintain housekeeping and support recycling area as needed.
• Collaborate with production and shipping to follow standard works.

• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections on
• Record preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, production output and other key metrics, performing mathematical calculations as
• Safely operate a propane sit-down forklift to move raw materials or finished products throughout the manufacturing floor, which includes, but is not limited to, keeping production line clear and running and keeping product and raw materials properly stored.
• Visually inspect material for quality defects; Segregate defective product and notify
• Fill dumpsters from production floor; Housekeeping of plant (inside and out).
• Work as a team with production and shipping team to follow all facility Standard Works/processes and improve operations.
• Support the recycling area, when needed, and help to keep it
• Fill in on other areas of the plant (e.g., Warehouse) as
