Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $17.00/hr

Position Overview

The Shipper/Receiver position involves working with a variety of plastic storage products, including tubs, totes, and waste containers, and is responsible for shipping and receiving duties.

Essential Functions

• Assist in the maintenance of receiving documents.
• Assist in the maintenance of shipping documents.
• Load and unload trucks as necessary.
• Place materials, components, products, and other items in specified locations as verbally directed.
• Assist in maintaining storage areas to ensure safety, organization, and good appearance.
• Prepare Bills of Lading and Packing Lists for outgoing shipments.
• Verify the accuracy of shipping and receiving quantities and items on the day of arrival.
• Perform material handling duties for in-process materials.
• Perform inventory counts as directed.
• Comply with safety standards in job functions.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.

Qualification Requirements

• At least 6 months of prior shipping experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Injection molding experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a forklift license.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds, work at a steady pace, and possess literacy, organizational, and math skills as per industry standards.
• Punctuality and reliability are required.
