This position is responsible for performing various shipping and receiving duties for an assigned location.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare outgoing shipments and receive incoming shipments.
  • Identify and prepare parts for return to the customer or disposal.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve shipping errors and delays.
  • Process applicable documentation, including database updates, sample disposal records, invoices, etc.
  • Pull parts from inventory, as requested, for projects/testing.
  • Maintain parts and supplies inventory, as well as audit and inspection records.
  • Maintain safety and maintenance schedules and records for shop tools and equipment.
  • Design, build & package crates to return to the customer as needed.
  • May transport vehicle and/or part pickups to and from various locations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year directly related experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
  • Ability to design, build and customize package crates, using basic hand tools and equipment.
  • Must be organized and able to prioritize and complete tasks in an efficient manner.
  • Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written formats.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines.
  • Ability to lift and carry samples, parts and equipment up to 49 pounds.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push and pull as needs to perform the essential job duties.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record for transport of items between facilities.
