ELLWOOD Crankshaft Group (ECG) in Hermitage, PA is hiring a Shipper to support the manufacturing process and plant maintenance. The role is full‑time, non‑exempt, with day/night or rotating shifts as business needs dictate.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, understanding of manufacturing, ability to use micrometers, snap gauges, and tape measures, plus a valid driver’s license and DOT Medical Card readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as micrometers, snap gauges and tape measures.
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to work various shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform work in accordance with safety rules.
• Maintain high quality standards in assigned work.
• Adhere to FMCSA cargo securement regulations.
• Adhere to DOT driving practices.
• Operate machinery and equipment such as cranes, forklifts, saws and grinders.
• Maintain reports and records.
• Load/unload trucks, build boxes and skids, clean and weld.
• Arrive on time for work and meetings.
• Support production flow and plant needs.
• Woodworking capabilities.
• Interact professionally with team and other departments.
• Maintain housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Manufacturing environment with loud noises and temperature changes.
