Ellwood Crankshaft Group (ECG) is the world's leading manufacturer and remanufacturer of large, one‑of‑a‑kind, multiple‑throw crankshafts. ECG's products and services include crankshafts and eccentrics used in mechanical stamping presses, reciprocating air and gas compressors, reciprocating pumps, engines, mechanical shears, rock crushers, homogenizers and other miscellaneous applications. ECG services the locomotive, shipping, mechanical press, oil and gas and compression markets.
Today, ECG has four facilities located throughout PA. We are currently seeking a full‑time Machinist I for polish position at Ellwood National Crankshaft Services and Ellwood Crankshaft and Machine both in Hermitage, PA. This non‑exempt position may be required to work rotating shifts, 12‑hour schedules and overtime as needed.

Physical requirements: Medium – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Visual acuity requirement – Includes color, depth perception and field of vision: Reading job lists and routing packets, locating workpieces. Reviewing dimensional specifications on blueprints and comparing specs to workpiece using measurement devices. Examining finished workpiece for surface irregularities. Viewing a computer terminal.
Working Conditions – Manufacturing environment. Some exposure to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts, sharp edges and exotic materials.
