Miller Industries is seeking driven individuals for a shipping/receiving role at our Ooltewah, TN facility. You will verify shipments, determine packing methods, and prepare items for shipping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of LN and Logistics software.
• Ability to pass forklift written and driving tests.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals; write routine correspondence.
• Math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide; compute rate, ratio, percent.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming/outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or orders.
• Determine method of shipment and affix shipping labels.
• Assemble or prepare containers for shipping; move items using lift equipment.
• Unpack shipments; identify shortages and coordinate with shipper to resolve.
