Job summary

Miller Industries in Hermitage, PA is seeking driven individuals to join our manufacturing and shipping teams. The role assists the department supervisor and collaborates with other departments on our QUEST for Quality, Utilization, Engagement, Safety and Timeliness.

You will verify and prepare incoming and outgoing shipments, perform inspections, operate a forklift and crane, and help maintain documentation while adhering to safety standards and production schedules.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years as lead or supervisor in manufacturing
• Intermediate computer skills; LN and MS Office experience

Responsibilities

• Verifies product quality meets customer expectations and internal standards
• Utilizes resources effectively to maximize equipment usefulness
• Improves employee engagement and teamwork
• Promotes safety standards in the workplace
• Ensures timely completion of daily customer commitments
• Other duties may be assigned
• Load semi-trailers with crane and forklift and prepare loads
• Inspect quality of orders being shipped prior to departure
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
• Carries out team leader responsibilities per company policies and laws
