VAL-CO, based in Coldwater, Ohio, seeks a Full-Time Shipper for the 2nd shift (4:30pm–3am). Top pay is $28.06/hr with a $2.50 shift differential and generous PTO after a 90-day probation.

The role requires forklift operation and accurate order loading for truckload, UPS, and customer pick‑ups. Responsibilities include organizing staging, coordinating with DC supervision, ensuring safe packaging, and handling all required paperwork while maintaining a courteous attitude and adherence to safety

Formación

• Valid forklift and driver license.
• Good basic math skills.
• Ability to interface with others courteously.
• Good organizational and decision making skills.
• Ability to read and properly complete all required paperwork.
• Ability to visualize load and packaging as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and load orders for motor freight, UPS, and customer pick-up as required.
• Organize staging and loading of customer orders.
• Communicate with DC supervision on status of orders and changes.
• Ensure orders are safely packaged and properly loaded to prevent damage.
• Assist customers and visitors in a courteous and timely manner.
• Complete all required paperwork and computer transactions correctly and timely.
• Follow safety requirements and keep areas neat and orderly.

• 2nd Shift Positions Currently available; 2nd shift hours 4:30pm-3am
• COMPETITIVE WAGES- Top out pay of $28.06; starting wages depend on experience; $2.50 shift differential for 2nd shift

This Position Is Responsible For

• Prepare and load orders for motor freight (Truck Load and Less and Truck Load), UPS service and customer pick-up as required in a timely and efficient manner.
• Organize staging and loading of customer orders
• Communicate with DC Supervision on status of all customer orders and any changes or adjustments required to them
• Check that orders are safely packaged and properly loaded to prevent damage during shipment.
• Assist customers and visitors in a courteous and timely manner.
• Understand and complete all required paperwork and computer transactions correctly and timely.
• Follow all safety requirements and keep areas neat and orderly.

Requirements

• Valid Forklift and Driver License.
• Good working knowledge of company computer system and products.
• Good basic math skills.
• Ability to successfully and courteously interface with others.
• Must have good organizational and decision making skills.
• Able to read and properly complete all required paperwork.
• Good ability to visualize load and make packaging as needed.
