Job summary

The Walt Disney Company, a premier entertainment leader, seeks a Youth Activities Manager to supervise the onboard Youth Programs across multiple venues. This shipboard role demands strong leadership, guest service excellence, and the ability to live and work at sea.

You will manage staff schedules, performance reviews, and training while ensuring safety, policy compliance, and high-quality family experiences aboard the vessel.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years in high-volume child care operations.
• Minimum three years of management experience leading a large team.
• Degree in related field preferred.
• Proven experience leading a team.
• Exceptional Guest service skills.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Must be receptive to CPR training while employed with DCL.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Youth Activities team across venues (It’s A Small World Nursery, Oceaneer’s Club/Lab, Edge, Vibe).
• Manage daily schedules for Youth Activities staff and personnel files.
• Conduct performance reviews and discipline as needed; ensure onboard training and succession planning.
• Oversee compliance with USPH policies and project onboard standards.
• Monitor Youth Programs for show quality and resolve guest issues.
