American Cruise Lines is hiring Waiters for the 2026 cruising season to work aboard our shipboard hotel and restaurant, delivering outstanding hospitality and representing our brand.

This temporary 28-week assignment includes room and board, travel, uniforms, and training, with weekly pay between $1,000 and $1,400. Completion could lead to future opportunities within our hospitality team on America’s leading small ship cruise line.

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Under Federal Law and the Department of Transportation, pre-employment drug testing is required for all shipboard employees.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited.
• Grooming standards include limitations on visible tattoos and piercings.
• Temporary employment position not to extend beyond 28 weeks of shipboard work.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour, including setting tables and arranging items.
• Cater to culinary requests efficiently and acknowledge guests by name.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer questions.
• Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages, ensuring presentable presentation.
• May perform other duties such as greeting guests on embarkation and assisting with afternoon teas or evening entertainment.
