Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, is hiring waiters for the 2026 cruising season. You will work in our shipboard hotel and restaurant, delivering outstanding hospitality and representing the brand.

This temporary position lasts up to 28 weeks onboard, with weekly wages ranging from $1,000 to $1,400 plus bonuses. Major living expenses are covered aboard, including travel, room and board, uniforms, and training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour, including setting tables and linen.
• Attend to all culinary requests efficiently.
• Greet guests, escort to tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer questions about menu items.
• Relay orders to galley and serve courses and beverages with care, garnishing as needed.
• May perform other duties such as greeting embarkation guests, serving teas, and supporting evening entertainment.
