Noblis, a leader in providing engineering and technical services, seeks a Systems Engineer/Technical Operations for on-site work in Norfolk, VA. The role supports shipboard and LBES testing for DDG HM&E Mid-Life Upgrades, focusing on lifecycle support, system design, installation, and verification of Machinery Control Systems on US Navy ships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in electrical or systems engineering or equivalent with related experience.
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems and reading schematics.
  • Proficiency with test tools (multimeter, oscilloscope) and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot control systems using documentation and schematics.
  • Provide test support for all variants of fielded systems at LBES and on shipboard.
  • Install and verify hardware/software for fielded MCS variants.
  • Provide regular status updates and liaise between shipboard teams and leads in Philadelphia.
  • Contribute to test procedure development and documentation.
