Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Engineering with 3+ years engineering experience.
• Experience using National Instruments products (developing/integrating NI software with hardware interfacing equipment).
• Rockwell ControlLogix PLC programming using Ladder Logic and Structured Control Language (SCL).
• Proficiency with test and diagnostic tools for industrial control systems.
• Expertise in Ethernet/IP and Serial communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform design, development, modeling/simulation, and integration for Naval shipboard control systems in a lab environment.
• Develop equipment integration designs for networking, SCADA, simulators, and related test tools/systems.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices and hardening for industrial control systems.
• Develop and deploy industrial application interfaces, database interfaces, and analytics.
• Support shipboard implementation of control systems and validation efforts.
• Develop technical documentation packages.
