Job summary

StratasCorp in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a mid-level System Administrator on-site to support shipboard IT networks and infrastructure under a DoD contract. You will respond to trouble calls, perform break/fix work, and ensure operations return to normal status, while coordinating with the help desk and remote administration teams.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Security+ or higher certification.
• IAT Level II or higher (e.g., SSCP, GSEC, CND, CCNA Security).

Responsibilities

• Conduct troubleshooting and break/fix activities on shipboard IT networks using satellite connections.
• Coordinate remote support with StratasCorp Technician help desk and Remote Administration team, and shipboard crew.
• Gather data as needed and provide to StratasCorp teams for data calls.
• Prepare and provide daily work reports.
