Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA 1915 and 1910.
• Minimum of three years as a Safety Inspector; field enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily shipboard safety inspections for on and off site vessels.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local regulations and NASSCO policies.
• Prepare written inspection reports and injury/illness statistics.
• Stay updated on OSHA standards and applicable health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with department heads and staff; interact with management.
