Job summary

Commander, Navy Installations Command (FFSC San Diego) seeks an Embedded Integrated Prevention Coordinator to support deployed forces aboard a CVN or LHD/LHA. The role focuses on non-clinical training, prevention program delivery, and collaboration with command leadership to build resilience.

You will help design prevention activities, deliver training, and contribute to program evaluation while operating in a naval shipboard environment and coordinating with the DRC and FFSC teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in effective prevention program activities to prevent destructive/problematic behaviors.
• Ability to work collaboratively to implement integrated prevention programs.
• Ability to identify, implement and evaluate prevention methodologies.
• Knowledge of military language, customs, and culture to include shipboard dynamics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, and military personnel.
• Ability to deliver evidence-based prevention training to diverse audiences.
• Skilled in using data management and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Establishes prevention activities at command level with goals, objectives, measures of performance, and milestones.
• Lead training facilitation and deliver a wide variety of educational programs.
• Coordinate with Command Resilience Teams to identify risk factors and preventive measures.
• Reviews and coordinates primary prevention actions and ensures completion dates are met.
• Develops population-based and targeted prevention efforts for installation, command, and units.
