Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking a Physician to evaluate and treat crew and guests onboard a ship. You will report to the Chief Physician (Shore side) and Lead Physician (Shipboard) and work under Senior Physician direction to support medical services at sea.

This shipboard role requires an active STCW medical license, a medical degree, and several years of emergency/trauma care experience, including pediatric care.

Qualifications

• Active medical license from STCW country.
• Medical degree from a recognized college or university from an STCW country
• Provide a letter of good standing from the Medical Board/Council prior to joining a vessel
• 3 Years recent medical experience in general and emergency medicine, trauma care or critical care
• Background treating pediatric patients (emergency, inpatient, or outpatient)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ALCS)
• Valid accredited BLS/PALS/ALS/ACLS certificates prior to embarking
• Digital literacy, experience with MS Office programs and electronic health records

Responsibilities

• Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)
• Complete a pre-employment medical
• Obtain a criminal background check
• Bring approved work shoes
