Disney Cruise Line seeks a Physician to evaluate and treat crew and guests aboard a Disney vessel. You will report to the Chief Physician (Shore side) and Lead Physician (Shipboard) and operate under ACEP guidelines and the Vessel Sanitation Program.

This shipboard role requires a valid medical license from an STCW country, a medical degree, and 3+ years in general/emergency medicine with pediatric experience. You must live/work at sea and participate in safety and crew wellness duties.

Qualificações

• Active medical license from STCW country.
• Medical degree from a recognized college or university from an STCW country
• Provide a letter of good standing from the Medical Board/Council prior to joining a vessel
• 3 Years recent medical experience in general and emergency medicine, trauma care or critical care
• Background treating pediatric patients (emergency, inpatient, or outpatient)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ALCS)
• Valid accredited BLS/PALS/ALS/ACLS certificates prior to embarking
• Digital literacy, experience with MS Office programs and electronic health records

Responsabilidades

• Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)
• Complete a pre-employment medical
• Obtain a criminal background check
• Bring approved work shoes
• Attend drills scheduled by the Safety Officer
• Provide training for Emergency Stretcher Team
• Participates in duties common to all onboard staff, such as lifeboat drills, responsibilities assigned by the Captain
• Accurate use of Controlled Substance handling and disposal
• Assist with implementation of crew immunization programs
