Disney Cruise Line is seeking a shipboard physician to evaluate and treat crew and guests, under Senior Physician supervision. You will manage referrals, medical debarks, and safety duties while maintaining accurate reports and following established medical guidelines.

The role requires STCW-country licensure, a medical degree, and recent emergency medicine experience, including pediatric care and ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications. Willingness to live at sea and participate in drills is essential.

Qualifications

• Active medical license from an STCW country.
• Medical degree from a recognized college or university from an STCW country.
• Provide a letter of good standing from the Medical Board/Council prior to joining a vessel.
• 3 years recent medical experience in general and emergency medicine, trauma care or critical care.
• Experience treating pediatric patients (emergency, inpatient, or outpatient).
• BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications.
• Valid accredited BLS/PALS/ALS/ACLS certificates prior to embarking.
• Digital literacy, experience with MS Office programs and electronic health records.

Responsabilités

• Supervise shore referrals and medical debarks of crew members with Shoreside Medical Services.
• Monitor crew unfit for duty status.
• Communicate with Medical Services shore personnel regarding guest medical debarks.
• Consult Senior Physician for medical disembark decisions.
• Maintain open lines of communication with other ship departments.
• Ensure accuracy of reports prior to submission (AGE, Unfit for Duty, Health Declarations).
• Follow ACEP guidelines and Vessel Sanitation Program manual.
• Attend drills scheduled by Safety Officer and provide Emergency Stretcher Team training.
• Participate in duties common to onboard staff and safety responsibilities.
• Handle controlled substances and assist with immunization programs.
