Job summary

Atlas Tech is seeking a Network Automation Engineer to support shipboard networks, perform troubleshooting, and implement automation via Ansible and PowerShell. This hybrid billet is based in San Diego, CA, with DoD/Navy program exposure and strong cybersecurity focus.

The role requires 3–5 years in network/system engineering, DoD familiarity, and Cisco ISE experience. You will collaborate across teams to sustain and upgrade deployed transport systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years professional experience in network or systems engineering.
• DoD or Navy program experience is preferred.
• Experience with Cisco ISE or NAC technologies and policy enforcement.
• Familiarity with STIGs and cybersecurity concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide sustainment support for fielded shipboard networks and configurations.
• Lead upgrades to network baselines across deployed configurations.
• Develop automation tooling and scripts (Ansible, PowerShell).
• Process ECRs and support Agile/DevOps for improves.
