Job summary

Atlas Tech is seeking a Network Automation Engineer for a hybrid-site role in San Diego, CA. You will sustain fielded shipboard networks, troubleshoot configurations, and lead upgrades across multiple deployments, with a focus on automation via Ansible and PowerShell.

A DoD background and DoD security clearance are highly valued. The role requires 3–5 years in network or systems engineering, hands-on Cisco ISE/NAC experience, and strong cybersecurity fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent DoD systems experience.
• 3–5 years of professional network or systems engineering with DoD/Navy exposure preferred.
• Hands-on with Cisco ISE/NAC, 802.1X, profiling, and policy enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Provide sustainment support for fielded shipboard networks, including troubleshooting and configuration updates.
• Lead upgrades to network baselines for multiple configurations, ensuring reliability and compliance.
• Develop and maintain automation tooling (Ansible, PowerShell) for network sustainment.
