JRC is seeking a Shipboard Integration Engineer to join a cross‑functional team adapting a new flight vehicle for operation from a Virginia Class submarine. You will define interfaces, guide simulator development for HWIL/SWIL testing, and ensure the integrated system processes a valid mission plan with rigorous traceability.

The role emphasizes MBSE, risk management, and close collaboration with government and contractor partners to support DoD programs and mission assurance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related).
• 7+ years of defense systems engineering on missile or aerospace MDAPs.
• 2+ years of experience with Naval shipboard systems or mission planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communications abilities.

Aufgaben

• Define and mature the physical and electrical interfaces between flight vehicle and submarine.
• Develop flight-vehicle simulators for HWIL and SWIL testing.
• Lead liaison between flight vehicle and shipboard branches.
• Support MBSE, digital thread/twin management, and configuration control.
• Ensure requirements traceability, verification, and validation processes.
