JRC Integrated Systems is seeking a Flight Systems Engineer to lead payload interface activities for a DoW MDAP missile system. You will ensure end-to-end integration of warhead and payload with emphasis on safety, performance, and mission requirements.

You will coordinate HWIL/SWIL verification, develop interface definitions, and manage documentation across SEP and TEMP. A strong background in payload integration and risk mitigation is essential, with expectations of travel and collaboration

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline with focus on defense systems.
• 7+ years in defense-related systems engineering for missile/aerospace MDAPs.
• Experience with payload integration, interface definitions, and verification.
• Proven ability to author ICDs, specs, and requirements traceability.

Responsabilidades

• Lead payload segment design, manufacturing, and integration efforts under the LOC Missile System Integration section.
• Support compliance with Nuclear Weapons System Surety and Safety requirements.
• Co-lead development and maintenance of the Flight System to Payload ICD and specs.
• Plan and execute flight system to payload integration activities with clear handoffs.
• Lead HWIL/SWIL verification, define tests, criteria, and analyze results.
• Identify technical risks, track mitigation actions, and advise on trade-offs.
• Provide input to ERB/TRMB/CCB as the payload interface SME.
• Contribute to SEP, TEMP, and Mission Assurance planning for payload interface.
• Oversee integration and test activities for LOC missile hardware, data collection, and post-test analysis.
• Prepare payload integration status for major reviews and milestones.
