Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking a Shipboard Human Resources Manager to support crew employee relations, performance management, and HR initiatives across the vessel. You will partner with shipboard leaders, act as a trusted advisor, and report to the Manager, Human Resources (shipboard).

Responsibilities include delivering compensation and benefits, employee relations, and learning and development programs; conducting needs assessments; leading leadership development; facilitating team

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of formal Human Resources experience in at least one functional area (e.g., learning and development, compensation & benefits, employee relations, compliance, workforce planning & administration)
• Minimum of one year experience in employee relations and/or performance management concepts and practices
• Minimum of 1 year in a leadership and/or Operations role

Responsibilities

• Delivers key shipboard HR functions—including Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, and Learning and Development—while serving as a strategic partner to leadership and a resource to Crew
• Demonstrates strong business acumen and applies a strategic, consultative approach to anticipate needs, assess challenges, and deliver innovative HR solutions
• Maintains a relentless focus on enhancing the Crew experience by aligning efforts with company values and strategic priorities to foster a supportive, engaging onboard environment
• Partner with shipboard leaders to strengthen leadership behaviors by identifying growth opportunities and implementing targeted development strategies
• Conduct needs assessments to identify opportunities in training, communication, and organizational effectiveness
• Facilitate team effectiveness sessions and HR training courses for returning and new hire Crew and Officers
• Support the implementation of organizational projects and initiatives by providing tools, processes, and guidance for effective execution
