Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking a Shipboard Human Resources Manager to oversee Crew employee relations, performance management, and HR initiatives aboard a Disney vessel. You will partner with shipboard leaders, deliver HR services, and act as a trusted advisor to foster a fair, inclusive, and high-performing onboard environment while ensuring safety and compliance.

This role requires a minimum of 3 years HR experience in at least one function, plus leadership experience, and a willingness to live

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of formal HR experience in at least one functional area (e.g., learning and development, compensation & benefits, employee relations, compliance, workforce planning).
Minimum of one year experience in employee relations and/or performance management concepts and practices.
Minimum of 1 year in a leadership and/or Operations role.

Responsibilities

Delivers shipboard HR functions—including compensation and benefits, employee relations, and learning and development—as a strategic partner to leadership.
Acts as a trusted advisor to Crew and leaders while cultivating an inclusive, high-performing workplace.
Collaborates with shipboard leaders to strengthen leadership behaviors and implement targeted development strategies.
Conducts needs assessments to identify opportunities in training, communication, and organizational effectiveness.
Facilitates team effectiveness sessions and HR training for returning and new‑hire Crew and Officers.
Supports organizational projects by providing tools and guidance for effective execution and change management.
