Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking a Shipboard Human Resources Manager to lead crew relations, performance management, and HR initiatives aboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel. You will partner with shipboard leaders, support change management, and drive learning and development for Crew and Officers.

You will report to the Manager, Human Resources (shipboard) and operate at Level: 2 ½ Stripes, with a focus on delivering a fair, inclusive, and high-performing workplace at sea.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of formal Human Resources experience in at least one functional area (ex: learning and development, compensation & benefits, employee relations, compliance, workforce planning & administration)
• Minimum of one year experience in employee relations and/or performance management concepts and practices
• Minimum of 1 year in a leadership and/or Operations role

Responsibilities

• Delivers shipboard HR functions including compensation and benefits, employee relations, and learning and development
• Acts as a strategic partner to leadership and a trusted resource for Crew
• Supports implementation of HR initiatives and change management onboard
• Conducts needs assessments and delivers targeted HR training
• Facilitates team effectiveness sessions and HR training for Crew and Officers
• Collaborates with shipboard leaders to strengthen leadership behaviors and development
