Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking a Shipboard Human Resources Manager to lead HR services for Crew across compensation, benefits, employee relations, and learning and development. You will partner with leaders, advise on people initiatives, and drive a high-performing onboard culture.

You will report to the Manager, Human Resources (shipboard) and operate at Level 2 ½ Stripes, focusing on strategic HR solutions and change management for diverse vessels and crews.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of formal Human Resources experience in at least one functional area.
• Minimum of one year experience in employee relations and/or performance management concepts and practices.
• Minimum of 1 year in a leadership and/or Operations role.

Responsibilities

• Delivers key shipboard HR functions—including Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, and Learning and Development—while serving as a strategic partner to leadership and a resource to Crew.
• Demonstrates strong business acumen and applies a strategic, consultative approach to anticipate needs and deliver innovative HR solutions.
• Maintains a focus on enhancing the Crew experience by aligning efforts with company values to foster an inclusive onboarding and workplace.
• Partners with shipboard leaders to strengthen leadership behaviors and implement targeted development strategies and training.
• Conducts needs assessments to identify opportunities in training, communication, and organizational effectiveness.
• Facilitates team effectiveness sessions and HR training courses for returning and new hire Crew and Officers.
• Support the implementation of organizational projects by providing tools, processes, and guidance for effective execution.
