Job summary

Disney Cruise Line seeks a Shipboard Human Resources Manager to oversee crew relations, performance management, and HR initiatives across a vessel. You will partner with shipboard leaders to deliver Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, and Learning & Development while upholding Disney values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of formal Human Resources experience in at least one functional area (e.g., learning and development, compensation & benefits, employee relations, compliance, workforce planning & administration).
• Minimum of one year experience in employee relations and/or performance management concepts and practices.
• Minimum of 1 year in a leadership and/or Operations role.

Responsibilities

• Delivers key shipboard HR functions—including Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, and Learning and Development—while serving as a strategic partner to leadership and a resource to Crew.
• Demonstrates strong business acumen and applies a strategic, consultative approach to anticipate needs and deliver innovative HR solutions.
• Maintains a focus on enhancing the Crew experience aligning with company values and priorities.
• Partners with shipboard leaders to strengthen leadership behaviors and implement targeted development strategies.
• Conducts needs assessments and HR training to improve communication and organizational effectiveness.
• Facilitates team effectiveness sessions and HR training courses for Crew and Officers.
• Supports organizational projects by providing tools and guidance and applying change management strategies.
