Job summary

American Cruise Lines is hiring Housekeepers for the 2026 season to work onboard our ships in a temporary capacity for up to 28 weeks. You will be part of the shipboard hotel team, focusing on guest comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality while representing the brand.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean staterooms and public areas, assisting with events, and delivering exceptional guest service. The role requires living on board, full-time hours, and compliance with safety and grooming

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test required for shipboard employees.
• Grooming standards limit visible tattoos and piercings.
• Temporary employment up to 28 weeks on board.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests.
• Prioritize cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas.
• Acknowledge guests and handle housekeeping inquiries per service standards.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; organize inventory and supplies.
• Clean upholstered furniture and lounge areas; dispose of trash appropriately.
• Assist with embarkation greetings and special events when needed.
