Job summary

The McHenry Management Group, LLC is seeking a procurement support professional to provide technical documentation for shipboard systems and equipment. You will draft statements of work, government estimates, and purchase descriptions, ensuring compliance with FAR and related standards.

Responsibilities include market research, price analysis, and coordinating with the Contracting Officer and Inventory Manager. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 5+ years in marine field experience encouraged.

Qualifications

  • Draft technical documentation to support purchase/repair/overhaul of CG parts and materials.
  • Extensive knowledge of FAR and government acquisition processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office and reading technical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and justify purchase/repair specs and justifications.
  • Research lead times, on-hand quantities, and vendor core exchanges.
  • Collect and provide information to Contracting Officer/Specialist and other stakeholders.
  • Review technical data including standards and packaging requirements.
  • Utilize NESSS, NE-TIMS, and FED LOG for documentation.
