Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Buyer for Technical Projects to source and procure goods and services for technical marine projects. Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 3-5 yrs procurement experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across levels and cultures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

  • Receive requisitions for goods/services and clarify needs with requestor.
  • Source and negotiate requirements from various sources to resolve issues.
  • Make procurement decisions based on price, availability, and delivery schedule.
  • Provide cost-saving analysis and supplier performance monitoring.
  • May travel to ship, supplier, or project sites for loadings and audits.
  • Ensure timely delivery and compliance with company policies.
