THOR Solutions, LLC in San Diego, CA, seeks an experienced Corrosion Control Assessor with U.S. Navy shipboard experience to support SWRMC on a full-time basis.

You will inspect tanks, voids and hull coatings, verify spaces are gas free, document conditions in CADET and CCIMS, and produce detailed assessment reports with supporting documents. A SECRET clearance is required; travel up to 10% may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum five years of hands-on corrosion control experience in shipboard environments.
• Proficiency with general and special purpose test equipment.
• Knowledge of Navy assessment programs, visit processes and reporting methods.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and repair standards; troubleshoot and provide distance support.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office for reports and history files.

Responsibilities

• Support corrosion control inspections of tanks, voids and coatings.
• Verify spaces are gas free and properly tagged before entry.
• Document tank conditions in CADET and CCIMS; photograph as required.
• Generate AWR/2-Kilos and provide written assessment reports.
• Maintain daily timekeeping and status updates in TAAS-Info.
