THOR Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Corrosion Control Assessor with U.S. Navy shipboard experience for full-time support at the South-West Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) in San Diego, CA.

The role involves inspecting tanks, voids, and hull coatings, documenting conditions, and producing formal reports. Candidates must have hands-on corrosion control expertise, proficiency with CADET/CCIMS, and strong written/oral communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years in corrosion prevention and control with shipboard experience.
• Proficient with general and specialized test equipment and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Support corrosion/structural inspections on tanks, voids, and coatings.
• Verify gas-free status and safe entry tagging.
• Document tank conditions per G1N5/G1N6 CCAMM.
• Capture discrepancies with government equipment and report via required formats.
• Enter assessment results in CADET and related tracking systems.
• Generate AWR/2-Kilos in CADET and upload photos to CCIMS.
• Prepare objective assessment reports with supporting documents for NAVSEA mandates.
• Maintain daily status updates and timekeeping in TAAS-Info.
