Job summary

The Royal Caribbean Group is seeking an experienced professional to assist the Beverage Manager aboard our ship. The role oversees the shipboard beverage operation and directs the bar function and related activities, ensuring service excellence across all outlets.

You will work with a diverse, international crew, applying strong leadership, budgeting, and compliance with USPH standards to deliver guest satisfaction and maintain brand quality at sea.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience in Beverage Management on a cruise ship.
• Supervisory experience with at least 30 employees.
• Knowledge of beverage brands and quality of liquors, wine, and beers.
• Ability to manage international staff and provide customer service.
• Proficiency in analyzing documents and calculating figures.
• Familiarity with USPH rules.
• Understanding of business and organizational planning, human resources, and guest satisfaction techniques.
• Working knowledge of computer software and internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Beverage Manager to oversee the entire shipboard beverage operation.
• Directs the bar function and associated activities throughout the vessel by performing the duties described below either personally or through subordinate supervisors.
