Pacific Shipyards International in Honolulu, HI seeks an Estimator/Planner to develop cost estimates and support ship repair contracts for DoD and commercial customers. You will read drawings, specifications and collaborate across departments to determine material and labor needs for repair availabilities.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of professional experience (marine/industrial preferred), shipyard familiarity, a high school diploma (BS recommended), and US citizenship with TWIC/DBIDS

Qualificações

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in marine or industrial industry.
• Shipyard experience preferred.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor of Science highly recommended.
• Knowledge of Navy ships is beneficial.
• Former Navy personnel highly beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and technical proposals.
• Read detailed drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
• Engage in PSI's collaborative estimating process and bid reviews.
• Attend ship checks.
• Participate in business development.
• Must be able to work on-site with regular hours.
