Job summary

Jobtailor in Hawaii seeks a Lead Ship Modernization Project Manager to plan and execute navy ship modernization programs. You will coordinate with the Navy, contractors, and vendors to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget, provide technical guidance, and monitor safety and quality throughout the process.

You will maintain documentation, prepare status reports for management, and train ship crews on new systems. A high school diploma, DoD Secret Clearance, U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• DoD Secret Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
• 10 years of experience in engineering, naval architecture, or a related field
• Experience with ship systems, maintenance, and modernization
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Knowledge of Navy standards and operational requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of ship modernization projects
