Baker Roofing Company in Cary, NC, seeks a Shingle Roofing Superintendent to oversee shingle reroof projects on commercial buildings. Lead crews, enforce safety, track progress, and manage materials to keep projects on schedule and budget.

The role requires 5+ years of shingle roofing experience, project management in roofing, and travel up to 30% regionally. Fluency in English; Spanish a plus. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: minimum high school graduate; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on shingle roofing; project management in roofing preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• OSH A10, First Aid, CPR training preferred.
• Languages: fluent in English; Spanish a plus.
• Travel: ability to travel 30% across NC, SC, and VA; typical travel 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment for all crews and subcontractors on the project.
• Maintain quality control, site cleanliness, and daily housekeeping.
• Communicate job progress and concerns daily with supervisor.
• Complete project paperwork including timesheets and safety meetings.
• Install/repair roofs and exterior walls with various materials.
• Coordinate punch lists and job close-out.
