Job summary

Baker Roofing Company in Cary, NC seeks a Shingle Project Manager to oversee commercial reroof projects. You will supervise crews, enforce safety, track progress and materials, document issues, and maintain schedule and budget.

Strong leadership, communication, and field problem-solving are essential. Travel up to 30% across NC/SC/VA is required; OSHA10/First Aid/CPR are preferred; English fluency required with Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years hands-on shingle roofing; PM experience in residential/commercial roofing preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Certifications preferred: OSHA10, First Aid, CPR.
• Languages: fluent English; Spanish a plus.
• Travel: ability to travel 30% across NC, SC, and VA.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment for all crews, subcontractors, and other contractors on the project.
• Maintain and improve quality control, job site cleanliness, and daily housekeeping.
• Communicate job progress, field concerns, and technical questions with supervisor daily.
• Complete all project paperwork including time sheets, safety talks, material requisitions, and job reports.
• Install and replace roofs and exterior walls with metal, slate, single-ply systems, asphalt, aluminum, wood, and related materials.
• Coordinate punch list and job close-out before crew leaves the site.
