Job summary

Baker Roofing Company is seeking a Shingle Project Manager to oversee reroof projects on commercial buildings. You will lead crews, enforce safety, track weekly progress, manage material use, document roadblocks, and support crews to keep projects on schedule and budget.

Requirements include 5+ years of roofing/project management experience, a high school diploma (bachelor’s preferred), OSHA10/First Aid/CPR preferred, and fluency in English with Spanish a plus; travel up to NC/SC/VA may be

Qualifications

• Education: minimum high school graduate; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in shingle roofing; PM experience in roofing preferred.
• Languages: fluent English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment for all crews and contractors on the project.
• Maintain and improve quality control, site cleanliness, and daily housekeeping.
• Communicate progress, concerns, and technical questions with supervisor daily.
• Complete all project paperwork including time sheets, safety talks, material requisitions, and job reports.
• Install and replace roofs and exterior walls with metal, slate, single-ply, asphalt, aluminum, wood, and related materials.
• Coordinate punch list and job close-out before crew leaves site.
