Job summary

Baker Roofing Company is seeking a Shingle Roofing Superintendent to oversee commercial shingle reroof projects. You will manage crews, enforce safety, track weekly progress, material usage, and provide Training while keeping projects on schedule and budget.

The role requires 5+ years of shingle roofing experience and travel up to 30% across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. OSHA10/First Aid/CPR training preferred; English fluency required; Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on shingle roofing; project management experience preferred.
• Driver's license required; OSHA10, First Aid, CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment for crews and subcontractors.
• Maintain quality control and site cleanliness; daily housekeeping.
• Communicate progress and concerns with supervisor daily.
• Complete project paperwork: timesheets, safety talks, material requisitions, job reports.
• Install and replace roofs and exterior walls with various materials; conduct measurements.
