Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Shift Operations Manager in the United States to plan and coordinate shift-wide activities, ensuring quality, safety, and production goals are met. You will oversee daily operations, lead supervisors, and drive continuous improvement across cold, perishable, and grocery warehouses.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of general warehouse experience with at least 2 years in a shift manager role, and strong coaching, communication, and safety

Qualifications

• Must have 2–5 years general warehouse experience with at least 2 years as a shift manager.
• Experience leading and coaching a team to meet safety and productivity targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and retain staff.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversee daily shift operations including receiving, shipping, cross docking and trailer loading.
• Lead and manage Warehouse Supervisors for safe and efficient operations.
• Resolve problems impacting labor standards and timely shift completion.
• Monitor labor standards and take action to ensure targets are met.
• Conduct performance management including annual appraisals and training plans.
• Coach staff and apply progressive discipline per policy.
• Participate in budgeting for the department.
• Be flexible to shift schedules between shifts.
