Job summary

The Warehouse Operations Manager at Schnellecke Chattanooga will lead the operations area in alignment with the Schnellecke Logistics quality system and client requirements. This second-shift role reports to the Director of Operations and guides supervisors and staff to achieve service levels and performance goals.

Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement, managing budgets and resources, and communicating performance to leadership and clients while ensuring safety and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of logistics or operations leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, SLAs, and KPI management.
• Experience budgeting, labor planning, and resource management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and WMS.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods during the workday.
• Must pass background check and drug screen as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations to meet service level agreements and client performance expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and SOPs.
• Allocate manpower, manage budgets, and optimize resources.
• Communicate performance and risks to leadership and client management.
• Promote safe work procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee daily warehouse and office operations.
• Support manpower planning and labor hour analysis.
