Job summary

Bunzl Reno is seeking a Warehouse Lead to supervise branch warehouse personnel and ensure efficient order selection and shipping operations. The role emphasizes safety and productivity while coordinating daily tasks and process improvements.

The position requires leadership experience, the ability to lift 60–75 lbs, work up to 26 feet heights with safety gear, and proficiency with AS400, Word, and Excel. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehousing experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (60–75 lbs) with or without accommodation.
• Ability to work at heights up to 26 feet with safety equipment.
• Self-starter with multitasking ability.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient using the AS400 system.
• Able to understand written English without translation.
• OSHA certifications required on hire.
• Strong PC skills in Word and Excel.
• Capacity to plan workload and staff assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist team members in timely and accurate assembly of customer orders and preparation for shipment.
• Maintain a professional work environment with colleagues and customers.
• Direct daily activities to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Improve productivity by refining processes and team efficiency.
• Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced.
• Support the Warehouse Manager in evaluating performance variances to identify root causes and corrective actions.
