Job summary

Bunzl Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Night Shipping Supervisor to lead the warehouse shipping team, ensuring accurate order assembly and timely preparation for shipment. The role emphasizes safety, process improvements, and effective communication with internal teams and external customers.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of warehouse supervision experience, proficiency with AS400, and strong PC skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 3–5 years as a warehouse supervisor
• Ability to multitask and exercise good judgment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with AS400 and MS Word/Excel
• Experience managing a unionized workforce is a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervises timely and accurate assembly of customer orders for shipment
• Maintains professional environment with team members and customers
• Direct daily activities to ensure safe working environment
• Improve productivity by optimizing processes and staff performance
• Communicate and enforce company policies (operational, safety, admin)
• Assist Warehouse Manager in evaluating performance variances and root causes
