A leading health solutions company seeks a Shift Supervisor Trainee to prepare for supervisory roles. This part-time position involves managing store operations, providing customer service, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Candidates should possess strong analytical and communication skills, with flexibility in scheduling.
As the nation's leading health solutions company, we reach millions of Americans through our local presence, digital channels, and more than 300,000 purpose-driven colleagues—caring for people where, when, and how they choose in a way that is uniquely more connected, more convenient, and more compassionate. And we do it all with heart, each and every day.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee to perform higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to prepare for future supervisory responsibilities, completes basic operations and management skills training, and learns key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service) and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.
