The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing tasks as directed, completing basic training in operations and management skills, and learning about key aspects of the business and CVS/pharmacy culture.

Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are considered for promotion to supervisory roles that support store management in driving store performance and customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is on-site, the supervisor leads the staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

• Utilize deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills.
• Demonstrate advanced communication skills.
• Work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise store staff by assigning tasks, directing activities, and following up.
• Communicate effectively with management and staff.
• Assist customers, handle inquiries, and resolve complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail (preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience and location.
